Merchandise distributed by UniGate consists mostly of invisible and intangible telecommunication and information services, and most of them are new services that have never been offered before. How to make the channel partners recommend the new telecommunication and information services to their customers is an important challenge in educating the channel and its customers.

UniGate, for the past 10 years, has tried different approaches for selling telecommunication and information services. After investigating the merchandise combination in depth, it found that the telecommunication services are very complicated in both operator-end installation and operation but very simple in the user-end. Yet, for the telecommunication and information services of today and tomorrow, they are very complicated at both the operator-end and user-end. So, to prevail and promote the low-priced, high quality telecommunication and information service rapidly, it will take a complete diversification system and detailed channel planning, in addition to educating UniGate Channel and its subscribers.

In UniGate sales channel planning, there are 5 different types of marketing channels. Among the 5 channels, there is the diversification and cooperation relationship, which promotes the high quality, low-priced telecommunication and information services to customers in need.

1. UniGate Link:
UniGate and its franchisee, with the consistent CIS system, UniGate Link, provide subscribers with multiple brands and a variety of telecommunication and information services in one-stop shopping. It is also the best service demonstration and briefing center for strategic partners and channel partners.

2. UniGate Dealer:
Channel partners do not provide their own brand of telecommunication or information services. Instead, the merchandise they carry may be bundled with the services carried by UniGate to meet their customer needs.

3. UniGate Alliance:
Alliance partners have their own brand of telecommunication or information services, which may be bundled with the services carried by UniGate to meet the needs of customers.

4. UniGate Bundle:
Other partners, when selling their own brand of non-telecommunication merchandise, can bundle the telecommunication and information services carried by UniGate to sell.

5. UniGate Telemarketing:
The main function of the telemarketing center built by UniGate is to continuously develop relationships with potential customers, to distribute prospects to proper channel partners based on the location and needs of customers and to provide customers with low-priced, high quality telecommunication and information services.
