As early as 1993, prior to the deregulation of Taiwan telecommunication industry, UniGate had the vision of liberalization as the natural course of telecommunication. At the time, there was no local publication in telecommunication industries. In 1993, Communications Magazine was founded to provide a forum among the industries, the government, scholars and institutes. Because of its neutrality, it has earned major trust and supports from the communities and plays an important bridge among the interested parties in the communities.
As "A Nurturer of 3C (Computer, Communication, Consumer) Education", UniGate Publishing, starting with the monthly Communications Magazine, had published many books in the telecommunication.
It wishes to make contribution in educating and promoting telecom talents in Taiwan. Among those published, a set of Communications Bible has been recommended by many fellow colleagues as a set of reference books in the telecom field.
